XRAY - Model racing cars

I hear there are new shock towers coming with more upright positions is this true and what would the benifits be??

My kit ones (FT kit) have three holes for the front shocks as well as different camber link positions and centre hole detail.

The link Mario has supplied show a very different layout.

From what I have heard other drivers say, if you have the front shock more upright it will help to stop the front end diving into the corners and the rear hooking round. It is a popular mod on the Associated TC3 to have a rear tower on the front for just this reason.

I Email Atheena several months ago asking who the "top xray drivers" were who helped them develope the towers. They could not tell me any names to back up the advertising claims. I asked Mario about it and he confirmed that he was not aware of any "works" driver assiting them in the development of these towers.

The Atheena towers are effectivly copies of the Xray towers, the alternative hole positions etc, closely match the latest Xray towers but I would doubt if they had as an exacting quality control such as Xray have.

I am racing with them for a while (about 6 months) and they are very strong and good looks.
They are thicker than original and therefore sometimes very useful at the rear.
