Post subject: | Blowing out front hub Bearings in my 007 |
Last night I ran my 007 US car for the first time and the car handled great. Made 4 practice runs and 2 heat races with no problems, and then in the 3rd heat race, the outer bearing in my front hub locked up and the friction against the axle caused so much heat that it melted the inside of my wheel hex. I replaced the bearing and in the main the same thing happened on the left side. I am running rubber tires with a front one way. Any ideas what i'm doing wrong? Thanks |

bornracer is correct. Just follow the threads instructions on oiling the bearings and you shouldn't have anymore problems with the bearings. ![]() |

Me too. I had 4 hub bearings failure experience with my T2. And even worse is that I had 1 center axle bearing failure a couple of weeks ago. So what I'm doing is........ Change all bearings to another brand..... and seems that the problem is solved... ![]() |
