Post subject: | Tire wear |
I noticed my front tires were wearing differently compared to my rear tires. The outside edge of the front tires are exhibiting more 'coning' than the rear tires. I wanted to know if there's something I can do to my setup to help with the tire wear. I noticed that my car tends to understeer more off power as time goes on, and my tires wear more. My setup sheet for this car is listed here: and here's a picture of the front tire wear: and here's the picture of the rear tire wear: |

the tendency for a tire to cone is ussually adjusted with camber. Generally you want to set camber to get even wear on a tire, this shows that the tire is making contact with the track evenly when corner which is when most of the load and wear occurs on tires. |
