There are many manufacturors that make good wheels but nowadays I don't often buy them separate as most (bigger) events use pre-glued control tyres. On the rare occasions that I can choose the wheels myself I tend to use XRay or Orion wheels.

I've had a look on the Xray website but dont know where to get them from. Most 24mm that i've tried have the wrong offset and the wheels rub on the suspension arms.

Thats why i was trying to find a wheel that most peeps use, if they use the 24mm that is.

Most people that i have spoken too use standard 26mm.

You could get the +0.75 offset wheel hexes if you have problems with the rims rubbing on the arms.

lol, as ever trying to sell the xray products, dont you think it enough peoplehave bought the car itself!

if these were so important why not include them in the kit?

seriously though you can use a 0.75mm spacer or even a 1 mm spacer to stop the wheel rubbing, at a fraction of the cost and it is easier to fit, plus you can buy more sizes!!

Well off course XRay does expect something in return

Seriously though, a spacer will work too but unless the spacer has a large enough outer diameter the wheel might wobble. As to the +0.75 hex, it is not needed. I haven't run them yet, at least not at the front. In fact at the front I often use the -0.75 ones. The simple trick is not to turn up your EPA too far. If a 24mm wheel is rubbing you are running too much steering EPA and scrubbing corner speed as a result (even if the wheel was not rubbing).

Ive turned my EPA down but then i'm not getting enough turn and the cars pushing.

It all comes down to the fact that i cant get a setup for my car for indoor racing on a polished hall floor.

I've left numerouse posts and have even E-mailed Xray them selves with no responses, so its all down to the wheels now :(

I'll have a look for the +0.75 and hopefully this will cure the problem.

Cheers all for the info.

Again though any tips or pointers on a setup (however basic) for a very low friction track would be much appreciated.

Cheers
