XRAY - Model racing cars

Hey all,

I am trying to get an idea for a starting point on gearing my T1FK05.

I am running a Novak SS 5800 brushless. Track is medium sized outdoor asphalt, medium bite, running foam tires. I have an 84 tooth spur in the car and need to get a good base line for my pinion to start out with.

Any thoughts would be great.

Check with the locals first to see what everyone else is running for rollout. That should steer you in the right direction. Every track is different.

If you are asking about which pinions you should have in your pit box...
For 48pitch, 16-24T. For 64P, 26-34T. If you can, go with the 64P since tuning is a lot easier per rollout changes. I hope this helps you out in any way...
