Post subject: | Tyre Squeal |
Why is it that rubber tyres squeal and what does it say about how well / bad the setup is working, just curious as I have had tyre squeal withing the past few weeks and wondered what it means. Thanks ![]() Doyle |

Usually it means your tyres are over working (in my opinion), best to stiffen the car up all around eg shock oil, shock springs. |

How about Multi-flex as my car has all the multi-flex screws out |

Tire squeel can mean a bunch of different things. It can mean the car is handling perfectly, but you are over driving the car. Could mean, the car has a BAD case of understeer and the front wheels are being shoved across the track surface causing the squel. O r the car could be soo loose that the rear tires skip across the track and cause squell. |

My car seems to handle fine, I mainly get it when driving into haripins, seems like I'm going to aggerssive into the corners, if if it was going to be the front or back that had tyre squeal it would be the back on my car, would stiffening up the rear (multi-flex) help to reduce this |
