Belt tension can only really be set by the condition of the belt, when i ran thw fk05 i found i could quite happily run them 1 notch looser than standard when new, after several runs the front belt would need to go to the kit setting but the rear would be ok. As for the rims hitting the bottom of the shocks, have you tried the wider hex adaptors, you could give them a go, as moving the shocks will change your suspension geometry. |

Thanks. I can see now from having read many pages on this site containing old posts that the interference of 28mm rims on the bottom of the fk05 shock needs more trimming of the arms than what the manual suggested to get sufficient clearance. I thought I had done something wrong. Seems many that followed the instructions to a T found the shocks still hit the rims. |
