Roger at first guess I would imagine that your rear diff is too loose and that is causing the problem you are describing with the spool.

I know a lot of people that try backing the diff off because on the rear coming round only to find they had it far too loose in the first place and the problem only stays the same if not gets worse.

Try that see what you think (tightening the rear diff) and let us know

Yes rear diff is a good place to start. Also check your rear downstops. Generally with a spool you need to run a fair amount of rear droop so maybe you need to back off your rear downstops a bit. Also take note of the rear shock position on Ben's setup.

Tony could you please look at my sheet as well and give som tips?

Conditions are low/medium traction.
Problems:
1. Rear ens swings out when lifting off.
2. A bit "wandering" on the straights.
3. Not able to use full steering throw because of the above, this makes car go wide in slow corners off-power.

4. Do you guys use full steering throw?

Not exactly sure on the rideheight, please advice on ride and downstop values. I have a race on saturday so i need HELP.

A couple of suggestions:

- Take out rear anti-squat (i.e. run arms 0 - 0) as anti-squat reduces rear grip off power...
- Move the adjustable servo saver from 3 to 2 or even 1 to decrease the Ackerman angle
- Make the ride height 5.5mm front and rear and set downstops to 6 front 4 rear
- Put the rear upper links in position 2 on the shock tower (i.e. shorter)
- Run the chassis flex as I have it in this setup:
- Increase front camber to 2.5 (LRP VTEC tyres deform more during cornering causing the car to hook more)
- Increase the rebound in the shocks to 100% (especially important with LRP VTEC tyres)
- Try running silver roll bar (1.4mm) front and gold (1.2mm) rear if you have them (this will help corner speed and settles the car down even more)

Start at the top and work your way down. You should see a definite improvement with each change.
