Post subject: | Completed T2R build |
This car is my first Xray. i have assembled many kits from diffrent manufactures. I have to say Xray was the easyest. After i collected all of my parts. it took me just about 4 hours including sanding and glueing. the shocks are amazing. i dont mind not having the t2 ( i will see after i race the t2r) but as the build and the starting set up it looks strong. there is only a few parts i will upgrade, chassi post. i will have to see how the diffs work i am sure they are fine. my concearn is the drive shaft. (plastic) has there bene a problem of them breaking? i am going to race this car only at club level. 19 turn, the motor i am going to put in, is the check point. last year i was using the 19t spec. in another brand car, not a bad a car, battery placement isn't good. I did very well with it and like it. I am so looking forward to racing T2R. I am thinking that the other brand car is a top end car and the t2r is xray "budget car" and honestly It seems to better than the other brand to me. minus the CF. Thenagain even a walmart car when in the right drivers hand. i will let you guys know how it does next week end. Thanks Xray.. |

WE ran composite diffs in the TC3,yokomo,tamiya and hpi shaft cars and others with out issues, shaft drive diffs take on more abuse due to there direct link to the center drive shaft. I would expect nothing but success in both stock and 19T with the comp diffs. I honestly think u only need the posts and your set to tune to your track |
