Post subject: | T2R with massive oversteerproblem??? |
I ran my T2R the first time this weekend on carpet and rubber tires with LRP tire juice, Mazda 6 body, setup by the book. I suffered from massive oversteer entering corners, the rear end just swung around. I had to decrease steeringthrow quite much to make it driveable. I made some adjustments though, lowered rear rollcenter and less antisquat. Is that correct to gain rear grip? Does anyone have a cure or any tips? As it is a T2R there are no swaybars, could that be a part of the problem? |

Just came home from my 2nd test with the T2R. I made the following changes to the car: -high front rollcenter with antidive -low rear rollcenter with antisquat -rear shocks one more hole in on tower The car was so much better tonight!!! Still not 100% perfect but such a big improvement. Looking at the setup teamgp provided there are a few things that differ: -one way in front, I use diff -outer ackermann position -top deck multiflex setting, I can remove some screws Otherwise it looks the same |

Hi,Guys That phenomenon due to rear diff adjustment isn't proper,I think.(may be tight) It is important but it isn't clear.(How much I adjust) |

Hi,JimmyL. I think it isn't good idea to use Anti-roll bars at your probrem. If you choose spool diff,it may be good from now.But it isn't a only way. May be,It is better way,At the biginning, you invest for tyre sets.(Are your tyre sets match at your home sircuit?) And confirm each parts works right is important.(sus arms, drive train, etc) Any way,I want to aid your challenging set up. Good luck. |

I´m still thinking about swaybars since "every" other car have them. Can´t do much about the tires since we have to use spec LRP 27 at the races. |

Hi,JimmyL,again. You feel too much roll about your car? To use anti-roll bar, less grip than none. You test tire inner foam & wheel? |
