Post subject: | Need advise for Junior Nationals at Don Valley |
Hi I will be running at the Junior nationals in Don valley later his year, just needed some advise on gearing and setup issues. I think i may be overgearing as i use 20/84 at my local club. Any advise on gearing for don valley would be a great help thanks. Also i have been reccommened to get an 8-12 turn motor for this event, anyone got views on this? btw: I have never ran at Don Valley before Thanks Doyle |

Hi Doyle, I did the British Indoor Winter Series last year. xform/index.php?act=view&ID=103&setup=t2 Thats the set up I used in 19t, it will work in mod as well though. That meeting was only a couple of weeks after the T2 was released so I used a fairly basic set up. If I was going again I would use blue green springs front and rear and then add a 1.4mm roll bar front and a 1.2mm rear. The grip is very low at Don Valley. With the mod motors and motor set ups maybe another person is better to answer but I know a lot of A finalists in mod ran 9-10ts geared around 9.0 I believe. Hope this helps. Good luck! Jonny ![]() |

Thnaks Jonny, yes I saw some clips of Indoor Series and it did look as if they was not much grip. The only place I know that is relatively close is Stafford Indoor, I don't want to do Ashby (scrath the bottom ![]() Yes andy that would be cool it's on Sunday 17th September, I've got the T2 to best I can now so hopefully i be full of confidence for the Juniors. Anyone else on these forums going? Thanks for your help ![]() |

no probs chat to you wednesday if you down i am away friday so next week if not.. ![]() as for ashby you could get a chassis film to protect the under side of the chassis its a thinner lexan addesive sheet so no scratches, but setup is some what different for out door and ashby is quite a bumpy track but i love it there. bedworth i believe is closer and a much smoother track to get used to. ![]() |

Hey phil, Cya at the track, should be cool. Can't help you with your question though I heard Xray usually dominates this event; |
