Post subject: | DROOP ADJUSTMENT |
Hi Am new to the world of elec rc and just purchased a 2nd hand t1. Need help with droop. Once i set my ride height approx 5mm how much droop should I have when i lift the chassis and should ride height and drop be the same for both the front and back. I just want to get it set up to basic so I can then learn to drive the little bugger. This will probably be the first of many posts. Thanks Ross |

If you don't an actual droop gauge it is a bit difficult to give you an exact starting point. So instead let's look at the socalled "uptravel". Uptravel is how far you can lift the car from rest before the tyres lose contact with the track surface. In this definition "rest" means that the car is standing on its wheels ready to race (i.e. with the battery in the car). A good starting point is to have about 2-3mm uptravel at both front and rear. Usually the car will work best if the front and rear uptravel are equal or the rear uptravel is 1-2mm more than the front uptravel. Hope this helps you. |
