Post subject: | Loose front belt |
I raced my new T2 for 15 batteries prior to yesterday's race. At the end of the first final car was loose and I thought it was becuase I overheated tires. When I finished and checked the car I noticed that the belt was twisted!! Belt also was very loose!! I tightened it from the bulkheads and had no more problem Why something like this happened? Should I change it? Thank you Nick |

I set mine up as per the book, lugs set at the bottom groove front and back. (slightly loose) Been running my T2 since January 2006, thats one racing meeting per week and I am still on the same belt and I have yet to tighten up the front or back. I bought front and back spare belts, but they are gatering dust in my spares box. ![]() Only been running 19 turn motor though ![]() Mike |

I build it as per instructions. This is my second T2 that's why I ask. I find it very strange. I race at same track so bascically nothing has changed Only difference is that now weather is quite hot. Could this be the reason? Nick |

Hi Found problem belt is 2 inches too short yet came packaged as 305431, sending back to LHS for replacement as manufacture issue ![]() Mike |
