I would probably think more about tires.

I have the opposite problem. My car is dead on in practice and the first heat then when night falls and we get into the 2nd heat and even later (close to midnight) the main the track gets really slippery when it cools off.

I learned over the lasts weeks running with the T2 in hot weather a few things:

1) If your EPA is set at a high level to get maximum steering respons it will in hot weather overheat the front tires and reduce steering during a run.
2) During the day the track heats up and times go down. Due to reduction of corner speed / more lateral grip.
3) Soften the T2 springs and to compensate for that I used the 1.2 mm sway bars (front and back). And it worked.

I ran the car soft with sway bars and my EPA on 55% and was fast again.

I tried harder springs but I overheated my tires even more.

I know it is about the T2 but just take a look at
