You can also remove all of theother screws holding that piece in. and the neighbouring components.
After you have the rest of the area apart, turn the 'metal part'(assuming you mean bulkhead) as though it is a nut that you were unscrewing from the stripped screw...as soon as it starts to move, it should release its tension on the part and 'let go' allowing you to quickly and easily remove it from your car without needing to worry about getting out the dremel and potentially nicking your CF pieces.
DO NOT FORCE anything when trying this method...
Also ensure that when working on your kit that you use a high quality Hex wrench or driver with a tip that is in excellent shape such as these tools from .
