XRAY - Model racing cars

Hello all

Ive been running my brand new T2 for 2 weeks at my local club using the standard rubber tyre setup from the kit and although the car is very quick and Ive managed quick single laps havent been able to manage to string them together very well. What happens is the rear end is loose mid corner and corner exit I think this overheats the tyres and later in the race the car becomes very difficult to drive

I approach the corner and take the power off turn in, the car turns in well I pass the apex then I apply the power, during the off power time the back just swings around. Also when I exit power on the car slides again the rear being loose. If I apply slight throttle through the corner the back doesnt slide but the car pushes wide. On exit I power on and the rear slides

The track has low grip carpet and normally has one large straight one 90 degree corner and mostly hair pins

Any ideas greatly apprieciated

I had a problem with corner exit

This was the advise I was given

Anti-squat will:
* increase rear grip on corner entry
* decrease rear grip on corner exit

Pro-squat will:
* decrease rear grip on corner entry
* increase rear grip on corner exit

And it works, I run my T2 with pro squat

You can also drop the spring rate in the rear.

try lowering the rear roll center, and a softer rear spring ( yellows ).
