Post subject: | Servo Fitment T2 |
Hi, has anyone fitted an S3305 (*fut) servo to a T2. I have used the arm supplied in the kit and the steel shims, but the screw still hits the chassis. Any ideas ? |

What do you mean hits the chassis? The servo mounts screw onto the chassis and the servo screws onto the servo mounts, so after looking at mine I can't see any screws that could hit the chassis? Please explain... |

Hi, sorry it the screw on the end of the arm that catches the top deck of the chassis. It's as if the servo is not sitting far enough away from the centre of the car. I have a 625MG on at the moment and that works fine. But I find the ft3305 is a smoother servo and centrers back better to a central position |

ya gunna need to mount the servo further away from the center of the car.. I use a 9402 fut servo and used almost 4mm of spacers, as to prevent the servo arm from hitting the top deck |

I mounted the steering link on the other side of the servo horn, you have to use a different horn but you can mount the servo with out using shims or filling the top deck. |
