I use foam tyres (with additive) on my Xray FT car on a tight indoor carpet track, which rubber tyres will give me similar performance to the foams please? |

Here in Sweden we have Sorex 28R as control tires. They give good grip in combination with odour free tire additives and have a decent lifespan. Most people use JB blue inserts. Sorex 32R gives a bit less grip but has less tire wear. Those tires won't come close to foams though. Hope that helps! Regards, Arvid |

HI! We're racing over M1. Those tyres are the same ad the ones used in UK in 98 for the ITSC. By way, any tip in terms of setup is welcome |

We use the M1 T27 tyre, (ISTC 98). We use inch up wheels with soft moulded foam inserts. |

Hi Loony, I got mine direct from ModelTech. They are TOTALLY different - see their web site. Asymetric tread pattern, different compound, belted, different carcass design..... call it a new tire! Mike suggested a 24 or 25mm rim (not an inch up) and a soft / medium moulded insert. I've spoken to a couple of guys who ran them and apparently they give LOTS of front end grip. So much that some serious setup changes were needed just to keep the car drivable. Once set up it was like a rocked tho! This was with the JB blue foam inserts on a PRO4. James |
