I have recently installed a multi diff on my T1 Evo2 & when I run it in the full time solid postion (which I find awsome) The front screws in the wheels keep coming loose, any ideas on how to fix this problem would be most welcome. Thanks. |

again the name of the thread does not correspond with the content. I changed the name of "full time solid" to "T1FK05 Wheel screws get loose using full time solid axle" |

Be sure your front wheel washers are fitted right side outside. |

Hi i have had this problem alot with the o5 the problem is that through constantly undoing and re tighterning the screws and washers the washers compress from a cone shape when new to a flat ring this is what causes wheels coming off in races the cure i have found and works really well is go down to b&q or local hardware store and ask for some m4 split ring washers they are fantastic you wheels may come a little loose during the race but will stay on for the full 5 minutes without any problems I hope this has helped you Ben ![]() |

never had a problem with the cone washers using the spring steel wheel hubs try them. their stronger also. wheel nuts are ok on the t2 but they do stick out a bit when using foams. |

Also make sure you really (and I mean really) tighten the screw. I have raced every XRay touring car from the original T1 all the way through to the new T2 and have only had one wheel come loose in 5 years time. The wheel screws are the one set of screws on the older cars that you can and really should tighten really fast. |
