XRAY - Model racing cars

Just bought a used 05, I thougth I was doing pretty good. I replaced some of the wheel bearings, not thinking much about it. I get home here tonight and I read that the seals are different. How can you tell the difference between each side and what side faces out and what side faces in. Does this apply to the diff bearings? Thanks again. I hope I made this question clear. Pretty late now.

Sorry, I do not know what you mean. If you bought the original XRAY ball-bearings, you do not need to do anything. The bearings are already degreased and oilled with light oil to provide the maximum drive train performance and to minimize drag or friction. There are no different covers, so you just install the bearings in any way. Make sure to clean them regularly and you will have great performance.

Each seal has two different sides. One side has a deep groove and is meant to face the inside of the bearing and the more flat side, with flanged edges faces out. As Mario stated, you do not have to clean and relube them when new.
