Post subject: | Need help with off power rear end grip |
Hello guys, Here is my Setup. -I’m running the T104FK with the following setup -White Springs All round -2 Holes in the damper All round -Toe out at the Front .5 -Toe in at the rear -2 -Camber at front and Rear -1 -Tires are Take off 27s -27 Turn Stock Motor -Front one way -5mm ride high at front and about 5.5 in the rear -Droop set to kit settings Now the problem is that when I'm off power and go in to a corner the rear end will step out on me. With a little bit of power it will not do it as bad but then i have understeer. How can I resolve this issue???? |

You could also try running a locked one way if the downstop doesn't do enough. |

Ok it had been a week or so and i have Very Very good News. i found out what the problem was and it was sooooooo easy that you would over look it. Tweak and running low on shock oil. I pulled my car apart the whole lot. Didn't touch it for about 3-4days to let the bottom/top deck relex. Then took this time to clean the bearings etc. Then i started the rebuilt of the T1FK. I did do all the screws up in a star patten to stop any tweaking of the car. Filled the stocks with oil to the top. Adjected the ride high to 5mm front and rear and adjected the downstop to limit the travel upward. Put it on the tweak station and it was smack on the mid. Perfect. Went racing this week and got 2nd, 3rd, 3rd. The car didn't even think of losing grip. I would like to thanks you guys TeamGp, Drewdc, Mhejjas and CoryCraig |

Tweak would have been the first thing I would have checked...Good Call! |

Good job! A poor handling TC should always be handled like a problematic computer. Always reboot (re-build) first. |

Hmmm, some would argue with that. I've seen a colleague of mine reboot three times before he figured out that his mouse wasn't working because I had pulled the plug out |
