Giorgio, I will assume you are running rubber tyres which to all intents and purposes have a fixed diameter. When you change the anti-squat as described you indeed need to readjust the preload on the springs to get the ride height to the same height as before. If you set the ride height the same as before changing the anti-squat then the downstop setting should not be altered and still be set at 0 in your case. Ok, let try to explain better. view the car from the rear side, having a 0 drop means rear arms to be parallel with the lower face of the chassis (from that point of view, of course). Raising the antisquat will move the arms in a angle, which you will correct using the drop screw. I was just wondering if there was a "fixed" amount of drop to add, according if you put the arms in hole 1 or 3 or 5. Hope now is more clear. ![]() |
