Thanks for your input guys. I think I'll leave the bearings for now and buy something else instead.

I've tried ceramics in competitor's cars and they work great. However, I've yet to be able to match the performance of XRAY's diff balls with any outside vendor. Remember, that the smoothness and longevity of your diffs depends on how you build them and maintenance... |

What is most important in high competition is the free turning of the ball-bearings and there are man factors that influence this. XRAY has specially custom made bearings which provide the most free working of the bearings as possible. The bearings are oilled with very light oil instead of using grease. The bearings are inspected and controlled almost individually at XRAY to provide the highest possible quality and performance. This means you do not need to spend your time on degreasing the bearings, purchasing higher volume to select good ones, etc...XRAY did the job for you. |
