The Toronto Maple Leafs announced on Thursday that Hall of Fame player Ted Kennedy, along with two other Leaf legends to be named next month, will be the first to be honoured with bronze statues on what the club will call Legends Row in front of the Air Canada Centre. The team added it will be a multi-phase project that will unveil different players leading into the teams centennial season in 2017. Leaf players to be included in the first phase of Legends Row were selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs historical committee - comprised of local industry and hockey experts to provide recommendations on alumni and historical decisions.
