Post subject: | T4 center CWF brace - how to prevent belt rub? |
Guys, Am I missing something is is the center CWF brace REALLY close to the belt? Here's an older brace from my '17 I had already filed an edge of to clear the belt at the front with zero shims, this time installed on my '19 with 6mm of shims, which seems to be "the" hot setup these days. How do you manage to have these two to not make contact? Thanks, Paul |

The belt should be the same distance from the brace on all the T4's. It's always close, but I've found that by the time the small amount of wear on the side of the belt gets excessive, the belt needs replacing anyway. The belt shouldn't move to the side as much as you think. |
