hi guys and girls. hoping you can help out a newbie in the UK. i have just got my first serious 1/10 r/c xray fk04. its used, but in pretty good condition. my problem is this: having just put my first set of wheels on the rolling chassis i find that the bottom suspension arm trailing edge rubs on the inside of the wheel. ![]() ![]() |

Off the top of my head I can't think of how the arm itself would be rubbing (if you mean on the front)....unless your C-hubs are installed on the wrong side...(they should tild toward the back of the car..not the front) If you are running 28mm foams, then you will have to trim the shock mount location on the rear arms to allow proper clearance for the wheel when running the outside shock mount hole... |

Also check your camber settings. You may have positive camber instead of negative camber and you could get this problem. |

You could either get different rims, put a washer in between the rim and the hex or file a bit of the arm. Is the rim only just rubbing or does the it stop the wheel moving completely? |
