Post subject: | Basic Carpet Setup |
I'm going to test a full weekend at It's for me (and my teammates) the first time that I drive on carpet. I would like to get some suggestions for a basic setup to work from for my FK05: for the car: I can choose between: - 2 or 2,5 mm chassis - Standard or flex topdeck - Flex topdeck stiff or loose - posts under topdeck in rear some guidence on: - Ride height - Sway bars (front / rear) - One way or spool or diff in front - Camber - Caster - RC - Springs front / rear - Shock oil & # holes open For gearing / motor: I'm using a Team Orion V2 MR 12Tx1 Would like a suggestion on: - Timing (low I presume) - Gearing Thanks upfront for any suggestions |

Hm, i would take the 2,5mm chassis and the flex-topdeck with posts in front and rear but only with the center brace. Then you could also try out running without the posts and decide what is better for you. And I don't know if you will have enough steering with the 2mm anti-roll bar. I would try runing without it or with only 1mm. |
