Hi,
can some body give me an advise how I can get more steering?
Here is my current setup:

I already tried to soften the front Springs, but there was nearly no difference.
I need more steering throughout the whole corner. If I put softer tires in the front the car get a tendancy for traction roll.

Perhaps somebody could help me.

Where does it need more steering? Corner entry off power, corner exit on power, mid corner on power through sweepers, a combination, or all?

Just from looking at the setup, I'd suggest the following:

Change front downstop to 2 and open all four holes in the rear shocks.

Are you using traction compound? If so, how much of the front and rear tires are you applying it to?

I need more steering all situations. :D
I'd like to take slow corners tighter.

I'm alpplying traction compound to the whole front and rear tires.

But if I would open all four holes in the rear, it would get even more planted, or am I wrong?

I would like to suggest using carpet foam instead of asphalt foam. The carpet foam is not so rough. The new GQ 28 mm carpet foam is very good.

Lowering the front roll center will also work.

The Problem is that over here in Europe it's hard to get JACO or TRC tires and if you find them somewhere you will have nearly to pay 20€ for a pair.

Here you go:

* Decrease wheelbase (missed this in the earlier post) to minimum

Test it. Then also do the following and test it again.

* Front downstop to 2
* Open all four holes in the rear shocks

One other thing is that with 26mm tires, the wheel track is now wider than if you used the standard 28mm foam tires. The 2mm is taken away from the inside edges of the tires and with negative camber, the grip from all four tires comes primarily from the inside edges.

You could move the track width closer to its optimal width by using the on all four corners.

One question:
Have the Jaco tires the same hardness in front and rear if you take for example dbl. pink/orange in front and dbl. pink in the rear? I know that the outer ring in the front is harder than the rest? Perhaps I could try tu run rear nitro tires in the front toget more steering :roll:

And another question is how far the new top deck would change the road performance of the car. I don't know if the 50€ are worth it.

If using the shortest wheelbase does not work, use the longest wheelbase and try 1,5 degree of antidive up front, this will make the front tires hook up better through the entire corner. Next thing would be try the shortest camberlink up front, this will make the car more reactive and better turn-in.
