I would say the cool can fans would be more effective as they are working all the time, although they are a bit expensive they do work. If you don't want to spend the money on one of them you can make yourself one with a peice of lexan for a bracket, two fans from Much More, tie wraps and a screw and nut. I've made my own and it works very well. Charles |

Ok, so what would be the most efficient for racing, a heat sink that's not so good at cooling, or a fan, which cools better at the expense of battery voltage? |

Cooling the endbell is MUCH more effective than cooling the can. Look into 5 volt 25mm/30mm fans made by Reedy, Much More, and etc... |
