Shims in between the suspension holders and the rear bulkheads are for rear toe-in which is explained in the . Changing the rear toe with shims can also change the wheelbase, rear track width and rear tire camber gain at the same time. We recommend you use either the aluminum shims ( and sizes) or a combination of the aluminum rear hubs with built-in or of toe for large rear toe-in changes in conjuction with for small increments. Using the rear hubs will maintain your wheelbase, rear track width and rear tire camber gain and may provide more stability for the rear.

Shims underneath outer camber links raises the roll center at that end of the car and also increases the negative camber gain of the wheels as the suspension compresses. These roll center changes are smaller than if you changed the lower arm mounting positions on the bulkheads. The camber gain changes are smaller than if you changed the length of the camber links.
