Did you run a bead of CA around the edges of the chassis? That helps quite a lot. |

Is it only happening at templestowe? I snapped mine there, but haven't had a problem any where else. touch wood. That board in the chicane at the end of the straight is a killer Matty |

Hi I have had problems with my chassis splitting aswell it has split at the front where the bumper holder is screwed in i repaired this by putting a little bit of zap a gap superglue on the edge and using a pair of grip pliers held the chassis together and it stuck! I do have to keep re-applying the glue from time to time but it holds it together, i think im going to have to buy a new chassis plate. |

hi, Yer, so wat can we do to prevent it?, i dont hit every board and i only hit 2 or 3 times a meeting and every now and agin i might gave a big one and i dont like the fact every time i have a big hit i have to fix or replace my chassis. What do xray think of this, its the only car doing it atm and its the only down side to the car that i can find, so if they could put their brains together and come up with a new front bumper system or chassis? Cheers |

I find that the chassis protecting rear bumper wears way to quickly and I've now got some seriously bad looking scratches on the rear of the chassis of my 4 month-old FK'05. Looks like I'll be needing a new one in the near future. S |
