XRAY - Model racing cars

i have also had this problem and discovered it on the first meeting with my car and the difference is exactly 1 degree on my set up system. i have the same diameter spacers each side

you also have that problem?
eventually find out the reason yet?

I also have this problem, same 1 degree variance side to side. I have done the following, all of which progressively changing more new parts have not cured the problem yet, they are :-

new wishbone
new wisbone pins
new wishbone mounts and alloy inserts
new upright
new upright pin
new hub bearings
checked bulkheads for flat on suface plate against new bulkhead from a friend my ones are flat to .001mm - new ones are flat to .005mm.
Have swopped drive shafts left to right, problem remains on same side - 1 degree less on left rear.
Checked chassis holes for correct centre against the centre line of car, all equal.
The only thought that I am leaning to now is whether the wheelbase spacers are worn allowing a difference in setback at the driveshaft end.
If you find the cause, please let me know, it looks wierd shimmed bigger on one side to the other.

i have tried the same as yours!!!!
still +1 degree more at right side...
i have tried remove all the toe in spacers....
there still +1 degree on right....

what do you mean of that?

A surface plate is an engineering tool, it is a piece of metal guaranteed 100% accurately flat, so any distortion will show up and can be measured.
I presume Mario has the bulkheads built to a tolerance, but as mine are flatter than new ones, I don't really need the tolerance.

but still can't figure out the source of problem?

Don't think it is a chassis issue, my car uses the 3 mm BMI chassis and it has the problem, so I think we can rule that out unless they are copying flawed measurements - which I think is most unlikely. I presume you and Maxch are using the standard Xray product chassis?. Perhaps next time somebody has their car in the setup jig, they could measure their rear toe to see how widespread the issue is?.

Can't speak for anyone else with the problem, but I've checked my rear bulkheads are flat - that was what the surface plate was used for.

then how can you overcome situation?
use different spcaer on left and right?
that's what i'm doing...
