i have just brought a team screem motors but my ko servo is strarting to get interference just wondering if any one had any soultion on how to sort it out is there anything can do with the motor

Have you got a schotty (sorry if it is wrong) diode on the motor, if not put one on and try and keep all the wiring as neat as possible and keep the aerial wire off of the chassis and try different crystals to see if you have a faulty set.

I agree with the schottky suggestion (providing your speed controller is forward and brake). Reversing types will cause the schottky to go off with a bang!. This diode causes re-circulating currents which occur when you come off the throttle. The stored electrical power in the motor decays away in a controlled manner causing little or no interference on the receiver.

Another thing to check is whether your motor has 3 the anti-interference capacitors fitted. They used to be fitted externally on the motor from...

a. +ve to -ve
b. -ve to can
c. +ve tp can

I believe that a typical value should be about 0.1uF.

These days, Trinity and others are building them into their motors on the small printed circuit board on the end-bell. The "V" style motors have them built into the inside of the end-bell. Earlier Trinity's sandwiched them between the side plate and made contact with chip copacitors by using a spring.

As the previous contributor said, it is essential to keep your antenna away from the high current wires. Also, try to wire your components so the fields produced by current running towards the motor are cancelled by the current running back from the motor. This is done by binding or sleeving the pair of wires together in a parallel formation and keeping them the same length (not always practical). The same goes for the wiring to the batteries though this is even more difficult due to the terminals being at opposite ends of the pack. Wire length should always be minimised. There are also good racing reasons for doing this.

Finally, the bit of wire that usually sticks out of the arial tube at the top should not be folded back down the side of the tube. This would cancel some of the received signal by reducing the effective length of the antenna. It is better to cut it off or at least leave it free to trail backwards behind the car.

nope, don't cut your reciever ariel what so ever, the ariel is designed to be a certain length to suit the reciever.

a shottky diode won't generally stop interfearance, it will just make the motor run more efficient while breaking, also stops EMF travelling back into the break fets in the ESC.....installing 2 or 3 capacitors on the motor will help stop interfearance though...because it stops high frequency vibrations from the motor, thus stopping any possible (or help stopping some) interferance created by the motor.

make sure you haven't tie wrapped your ariel to any other wires, keep the ariel away from the chassis and away from any power leads.

another thing you can try is fitting some ferrite magnets to the negative wires on battery and motor, or try twisting both motor wires.
