For the outer link mount hole on the steering block, for more aggressive steering you use the hole closest to the front of the car and use the holes closest to the rear for less aggressive steering.

For the inner link mounting holes on the servo saver, for more aggressive steering you use the outer holes and for less aggressive steering you use the inner holes.

Changing the inner link mounts on the servo saver provides less of a change than the outer link mounts on the steering blocks.

Most drivers chose to keep the inner link mounts in the inner holes on the servo saver and then cut off the the outer holes in order to provide more clearance between the servo saver and the bulkheads when the steering is turned at full lock. [CORRECTION] WITHOUT this modification, if you hit a wall with the steering at full lock, the servo saver doesn't have enough room to absorb the impact and you often will break (or bend if aluminum) the steering blocks, c-hubs or other parts.

Thanks teamgp, I kind of guessed it would be you who might answer this one.
Can I just ask one more question. From the setup book, two settings create equal steering, and two create unequal steering. would I be correct in saying block 1 and saver 1, block 2 and saver 1 are equal, and block 1 and saver 2, block 2 and saver 2 are unequal?. Wouldn't unequal steering be more agressive?. Would unequal steering drag the tyre in the corner and slow the car down slightly, or is it the other way around?.
Sorry for the questions, but this is really making my head hurt

Hadn't thought about that. But I'll be working with Xray to provide more information in the future.

The truth of the matter is that I compiled everything I know about RC in the past ten months since I started. However, five of those months included time off from work which gave me more time to research and test.

But my career as an enterprise information systems architect involves working with and presenting to executives, middle management, and the grunt workers (which is where I started of course). So I've had a lot of practice making complex things understandable. I'm pretty simple myself.
