Hi all I have been using the attached setup on the black eats carpet, only difference being I have 3k oil in the diff and 1mm shim on inside rear camber link and alloy steering arms. http://site.petitrc.com/reglages/xray/s ... 015121113/ My problem is that as the night goes on the car gets harder and harder to drive with the rear wanting to come round on itself. Last night I tried the following and it just got worse and worse! Removed 1mm of shim on inside front camber link Removed all shims on inside rear camber link Stood rear shocks up one hole Stock rear tow 2.5 rear springs Removed bump steer and Ackerman shim. My first run is often my fastest and as the grip comes up I rarely improve. It feels like as grip increases the front gains more grip than the rear and I loose balance. I do try and run my car with full steering on the transmitter, but last night even at 80% steering it was a handful! Any suggestions? Feels like I am missing something big, the car is fine no binding with oil in shocks and diff. |

What bodyshell and tyres? Have you tried a different set of tyres? Does the rear want to step out at corner entry/exit or both? You said removing the front inner shim made it worse. Have you tried going up on that front shim to 2mm etc? |

Mazda 6 shell, 28 sorex tires at Newbury. I did have 2mm in and out on front links and that was better compared to last night. The tires were on their 3rd week last night but as the grip came up the week before the rear became loose unless I turned my steering down. Can't be sure, but think it is doing it on and off power at corner entry, feels like the initial turn is too aggressive and rears can live with it. |

I am putting your afar setup on my 2015 for next weekend actually! I run sxt additive, I was also thinking of reducing front camber and thicker front ARB? Do you use all available steering throw? I was also going to try 5k in rear diff to see if tat slows rotation down? |
