I just purchased a new T4 2017 and noted that the chassis was made from aluminum instead of carbon fiber as was advertised on the web site. Further investigation yielded that there are three different chassis available for this car. I researched most of the 'Settups' published for this car and found that very few of them state which chassis was used and if so it only appears in the 'Comments' section of the settup sheet. I find this rather odd as I would assume that changing chassis would be one of the biggest handling changes you could make to this car other than tires. So, my question are these: 1. What are the handling differences between the three chassis types and what is the recommended application for each? 2. Why is there not a dedicated entry location on the setup form for the type of chassis used? |

I suggest you will contact your distributor in US at xray@rcamerica.com who will let you know all details about the alu chassis in your kit. |

Thanks Robbie, that is exactly the info I was looking for. I have already ordered the graphite chassis as I will be racing mostly on asphalt. I hope somebody opens up an indoor carpet track soon as I gets pretty warm in Phoenix during the summer. |

Cool, good to hear. I thought there was a carpet track in AZ. Maybe not near Phoenix I guess. |
