With rubber tyres we seldom use roll bars. The reason I used 0.7mm roll bars is that they have very little effect and will only settle the car down a bit without influencing the basic balance in the car. Without them I would've been just as fast. Like Alexander said, if grip is high with rubber tyres and medium to high with foam tyres roll-bars are often needed. |
