Looking for setup tips to run the t4'14 on low grip
Prepared a car for my brother to run on low grip. Which is gymnasium floor, Schumacher mini pins (to many spiked tyres)
Ran the car with 2.3-2.6 front springs, 2.3 rear
300wt shock oil, due to the low grip
1k rear diff oil
The shock is in position 3 ( one from top on the rear) as I did this to help his stability, and I also spaced the rear shock out, by 2mm
Still struggling for rear traction. He's the only one running short shocks, and I have the option of long shocks on the race berry towers
2 degrees camber front and rear helps massively
Droop 3 all round, seems best for these conditions
Top deck has the four middle screws in the rear removed so just two front and rear
And I've widen the rear, I'm just struggling for rear on power traction

I find widening the rear reduces traction on corner exit when grip is low, so I'd go back to standard rear track (0 inserts).

The centre post (at the front of the motor mount) can help. Use that post with the top-deck shimmed up and you get loads of flex at the rear which gives good traction.

I'd drop the rear shocks down to hole #2 for traction. For stability I'd run 4/0 front shock spacing, and reduce the droop at the rear.

Let us know how he gets on with those changes. I think the xray has the best traction of any TC, so it should love these conditions.

What droop setting would you run

Try rear 1.5 camber 3mm toe in 3 mm droop 6 mil ride height.

Front 1.5 camber 1 anti squat (pro squat) ''',,, 1.5 toe out 3 mm droop 5.5 ride hight.

Front squat keeps more weight on the rear it will take some steering entring a corner too.
