Hi in what situations would you use the floating steering mount . Have you used it and in what way did it effect the car? |

Hi.Our Club indoor Carpet track is a small, technical, high grip track. In 13.5t Blinky our top time are 7.6-7.9 secs. Got my T4 '15 real fast but very nervous and Hard to drive constant. My Best Laptime was 7.915 and 36laps in 5:03Min.Using the Floating Steering mount "smoothed" out the Steering a great amount. On the second try I broke my Record with 7.808 and 37laps in 5:05. Alls runs with identical set-up,wheels,and body. Hope I could help. |

i bought also the floating servo arm and it's realy awesome. but i didn't figured out how to assemble the 3the picture. i bought both items but it's confuse me how to connect the plate with the servo holder. the orange alu stand is to short for 2 screws. also it's not really connected to the servo arm because the hole is to large. any suggestions? |

Yes indeed, it should be connected trough servo holder with the topdeck. What's the difference between stiff (3th picture) and floating steering mount? Stiff: more steering, more responsive? Floating: more precise and smooth steering? It feels like that.[/quote] Sorry I haven't fitted one yet to try it |

Hi, I tested recently back to back, the floating steering seem to give a little more slow speed steering. This was tested on carpet, med/low grip. Hope this helps Oj |

I used it at the last round of ews and the car easier to drive especially in the chicanes with fast direction changes |
