Post subject: | Chassisplate Problem |
Hi Guys I have a Problem with the Chassisplate on the T4 '15. On the left side wo is Installed the Motor the Plate is very thin. I know that the Plate is Original thin. But now i have make 3 Outdoor Training Days i think more than 30 Batterie Charges and now the Plate is extrem thin on this side. My Rideheight is Front 5 and Rear 5. I dont know but i think its not normal. One ore two Training Days more than the Plate of sure Broke at this Point. Why this ? I make a mistake or its this normal ? I have never see this. Thanks for Help |

It's normal, but if you're worried you can raise the ride height a bit. I saw one of Ollie Jefferies chassis's last year and seem to recall he did more damage than that in a couple of weekends ![]() |

You can put some tape under that area to protect it. I've used battery tape in the past; I've now moved to Helicopter Tape as this is harder wearing and has less friction. And raise your ride-height; 5mm is quite low for outdoors. Go to 5.5. |

something else you can do is to replace the screw thats in the whole for the motor protector plate to a button head, itll wear the screw instead of your chassis, just change it regularly when ollie does this to a chassis he gets given a new one, most racers cant afford a new chassis every other race, you might have to have a look at your set up,i had issues with a scraping chassis on a banked sweeper, changed set up and it doesn't scrape the chassis at all now ,and im still winning races,so you dont have to have the chassis dragging on the ground unless its really high grip, thats when tape is your best friend skiddins is that from wlrc in mod,im sure ive seen that pic before |
