Post subject:  T3'12 issues

Been having issues with my brothers t3'12 chassis
When trying to setup the steering there is lots of play coming from the steering
And when setting toe it adjusts it by half a mil either side which doesn't help
Whst can I do to sort this?
Replace the servo saver with a horn?
And shim the steering rack??

My next issue is that when setup evenly and correctly
The car doesn't run straight
I've changed driveshafts, diffs, hubs c hubs, pins, screws, changed servos etc
The car runs off to the left
Hinge pins seem straight so I'm unsure what to change
Whether it be bulkheads or chassis

All help appreciated

Is it all kit parts? Is it a genuine X-ray kit (have seen a clone that was nearly impossible to tell till you got hold of it then you knew and kit parts didn't fit properly)
Steering posts/bearings
Are the top hat bushes kit and present in the c hubs?

Hi
Yep all kit and all genuine xray parts
There are updated parts on the car of which are all xray
The bearings seem good, and the top hats are all in

Is it a used chassis?
There is an amount of free play in the steering but not normally something you can't trim out with the transmitter,
What is the rear like? Setup 3* toe (check shims) 1.5 -2* camber, springs matched?
Sometimes handling effects are from opposite end is why I ask.
Have you removed the wheels and placed the chassis on a known flat surface (I use the ceramic hob at home when missus is at work!!), this is to check and fix tweak issues that cause odd handling

check the top deck just next to the motor, they can crack and cause tweak on acceleration
