Greetings.

I have some setup issues with my car. My setup is

xform/index.php?act=view&ID=219&setup=t4_2015

The car feels edgy and not consistent. I most certainly feel that I need more on power steering, but when I push more the car, it spins and is not forgiving. My main issues are on power oversteering problems. I have used 5000 rear dif oil which makes the car enter the corner really smooth and fast, but it is extremely difficult to get out really fast without spinning. I also used 3000 to calm it down a bit, which helped just a little, but not solved the problem. By using 1000 rear dif, the car is very easy to drive out of the corner, but really terrible and loose entering the corner off power.

I have also removed the bumpsteer sims, since these make the car oversteer a lot at mid corner. Without them the car feels way easier to drive. I have been using 1mm ackermann sims to add some more cornering.

Any ideas?

The main thing that stands out is that your springs are way too soft.

Go to 2.7 all round, then see where your balance is and tune from there.

Look at the latest asphalt setup sheets from the team drivers.

Your shock oil also seems thin, you may try 400 or 450, maybe even 500.

Your downstop is also different from what most run, since you run equal (6mm) both front and rear. Most run 6F/5R or 5.6F/4.6R.

Or if anything fails, try kit setup to get a reference point.

Thank you for your answers.

You are absolutelu right Salkin about the droop settings, I had it wrong in the setup sheet. I run 5F/4R. Just corrected it. With 6mm Ride Height which I am using, I should adjust it to 4.6F/3.6R, according to the standard asphalt setup.
