Ran the car for the first time on high grip asphalt. Car was pretty good but I was loosing a lot of time in the tight hairpins. Question re the steering arm from the servo saver/arm and the steering bridge. When using the top hole on the servo saver as suggested in the manual the steering arm turnbuckle touches on the top deck. I used the lower hole on the servo saver and the steering arm turnbuckle clears the top deck but doesn't allow for full lock. I looked at another T4 15 and it was the same. The steering bridge has the 6mm shim perhaps a 4mm shim would work with the top hole allow for full throw or is there another solution? |

I've taken to replacing the steering turnbuckle with one of these: The square adjustment part is much smaller so no longer hits the top-deck. Lowering the servo in the mounts will also help. You can usually lower it ~0.75mm and still keep it well away from the chassis; just put a couple of header cards between the servo and carbon mount when assembling it. |

If you get a decent servo, it should easily get full lock with the link in the upper hole on the servo saver. The advantage of using it in the lower hole is you get better steering 'resolution' Skiddins |

Thanks Dale the 3 Racing turnbuckle looks the goods. I found a 4.5mm shim which fits and provides plenty of clearance. Skiddins not sure what you mean by that perhaps you need to reread my post. To clarify there is no issues getting full lock in the upper hole and I was close to achieving full lock in the lower hole, at my local track every bit of steering angle helps. |
