It would be nice if Xray would make some kind of chart or diagram for the ARS system. Now everybody I know is just guessing and making some blind adjustments not knowing what they really did to go faster or slower! Let’s say if you have shims 0/1 you get + toe in 0,1-0,2 if you have 1/1 you get – toe 0,1-0,2 and so on. Serpent has done some diagrams for the RRS system. Look at the manual and you will see what I mean. http://www.serpent.com/product/401618/downloads/ Best regards |

More like 0/1 = 0.3-0.4deg 1/1 = 0.2deg Anything more does seem to create toe out during suspension compression. The other problem is that how aggressive each settingis will depend on how much static toe you are running, as the longer the toe link (less static toe in) the less the toe will be effected by suspension compression. I think their manual doesn't have it right either, otherwise it would say 'here are the changes in toe when starting with 3deg' or something along those lines. The Xray pillar position is further in than Serpent's 'Inner Position' |

I think it does, with an exposed turn buckle length of 11.6mm using the outer hole you have static toe of 2 deg at a ride height of 5.5mm, it doesn't tell you what turnbuckle length for middle or inner but I suppose they expect you to have set up gauges to work that out for yourself. |
