What's a good place to put the Mylaps transponder holder on a T4'15? I'd rather use the holder, as I'm sharing a transponder between multiple cars... I can deal with loosening screws to take the transponder out, but I'd rather not use servo tape. ![]() I've seen some put it in the front, but the holder is a bit too narrow to use the bumper holder screws? Is there some non-Mylaps holder that fits better? Thanks in advance! |

I just found this, might do the trick, although I wasn't really looking to upgrade that part: http://www.reflexracing.net/RSD-Aluminu ... _1743.html On the other hand, Bruno Coelho seems to run the #301215 graphite bumper upper holder brace, with the transponder holder on it, but isn't the screws spacing the same as the composite brace that comes with the car (and so, a bit too wide)? http://rcracingtv.net/2014/09/get-your- ... no-coelho/ |

Not mine (I have the stock composite brace), but here's the exact situation I have: So, how does Bruno do it? ![]() |

Yeah, that's Bruno Coelho's car. ![]() What I'm wondering is how he fitted the holder to those screws, since they're a bit too far apart for me? Did he bend the "arms" of the holder? Enlarged the holes slightly? I just thought of enlarging the holes, that might just be the ticket! Although the RSD alloy bumper brace does have the nice feature of having the holder pointed "the right way", so that tools are not required to remove or put in the transceiver... |

I would say he's made the mounting holes into slots, 1 screw is enough to hold the transponder for an MRT but they are mounted on GRP. |

looks like he cut the mount. The screws are centered in (what's left of) the holes ![]() |
