I HAD A SHAFT DRIVE CAR AND HAVE CHANGED TO A FK'05 AND MY DRIVING IS A LOT BETTER AND I LIKE THE FELL OF A BELT DRIVE CAR. ALSO OTHER DRIVERS AT MY LOCAL CLUB (IN PERTH, AUSTRALIA) WHO HAVE CHANGED TO BELT SAY THE SAME THING. |

Shaft drive is very goog in stock but when it came to mod i found it very hard to drive on rubber. In mod i found that i went through a lot of one way gears which ment that i couldn't finish races, but have had no problem with my xray in mod. As i don't race stock any more there is no need for a shaft drive car, thats the way i feel. ![]() |

hi yes i fully agree with you mario i remember the days when single nelt drive cars for the new thing to have but they never really took off at all. I remember the Kyosho KX-1 which had big problems in drive line it never seemed right. i also work in a model shop and i fix alot of cars i hate working on shaft drive cars they are the worse. |
