Hey everyone,

Looking for a little advice on belt tention for Stock & Mod.

How tight/loose do you run each front and rear?

Do you try to keep them the same or run one tighter than the other?

What's the effect of each?

Cheers

Luke

Hi, front tighter than the rear so it pulls from the front more than pushing from the rear.
It can sometimes also help if the car is loose out of a corner.

Hello lpittman.

The belt tension affect to the traction first action on throttle. If you tight more in front than the rear, you will get a little oversteed... and if you tight the rear more than the front you will get a little understeed. But caution when the grip is low the effect is reverse.

I recommended loose in low traction tracks and tights when traction is middle to high, and on carpet. And about tight more in the front or the rear, it depends of you needs.
