I am building new T4 kit. The ball studs are not so smooth, there are grooves/ripples from manufacturer machining. I polish a little bit and it's smoother but grooves still there. If I polish away the grooves so it's smooth and shiny, the ball will be too small and have slop in ball cups. Anyone else notice this? |

They don't bind at rest but they are not super smooth connection under loading. |

Yes it is done. I have done it with my both my 2014 and 2015 cars. Last winter I saw Paul Lemieux building a car and he was polishing the ball studs. This was going to be his car for Snowbirds. He was using his super green slime polish. http://www.teamgravityrc.com/store1/#!/ ... d=28096370 Snowy. |

do you says the 4,9 balls?? i did it with the 5.8 ball thay x12 uses for side links, that are the same that the t4 uses in the shocks, and yes they aren soo smooth, i use 600 sand paper and a drill and i do un a minute and i don,t think that i reduce the diameter, i have ball of these in cars that have 3 or 4 years of use and without any wear on it.. |
