Hello all, I'm new to touring car and have no experience whatsoever and just bought T4 '14 about 2 weeks ago Basically I'm very happy with the car because I never thought I could really drive any on road car before. Last time I can remeber, all cars I've tried was always feel happy tail and very hard to drive. Anyway, I need suggestions on improving handling of my T4 I'm using all the manual book setup on my first ever touring car race 2 weeks ago and here are what I found: - The car need more into corner steering - It was ok on sweepers but need more - Checking after the race, I found pretty deep mark on my motor cause by too much side to side movement I guess. But no marks on the right side on the chassis - Rear grip was excellent and no sign of happy tail at all ![]() Attached is my setup sheet. Please note that ride hight and all are approximate since I still wait for my setup tools to arrive Thank you for any suggestions and advice given

Looks like you're on kit setup, which is definitely a good place to start. Lay the rear shocks down one hole, that will give you more turn-in. You can also add more rear droop once you've got some setup tools to measure it! Get yourself some 2.7 springs (front and rear), this will reduce the body-roll and should make the car feel more aggressive. What bodyshell are you using? That will be the biggest influence on high-speed steering. Protoform LTCR is usually best on asphalt. |

Try to use the 2 shock position. This is very important to get steering off throttle. What downstops do you use? |
