I had an asphalt race this weekend and the performance of my car changed a great deal after the first run on new tires... the track temps were around 140 and ambient temps around 95. We were using Sweep 40s for our tires. My question is... what do you guys typically adjust first as tires start to wear quickly on hot Asphalt? Are you running too little camber perhaps? Try softer spring/shock setup to reduce tire wear. |
